![]() ![]() To help off-set the cost of full-time graduate enrolment, Western provides funding support packages for eligible research-based Master’s and PhD students. Western recognizes that students who choose to undertake full-time graduate studies are choosing to delay their entry into the full-time workforce. Research-Based Graduate Student Funding Support Packages In turn, through the education of graduate students, Western makes a significant contribution to national and international social, cultural, financial, scientific, and knowledge economies. Graduate students are critical to the research and teaching missions of the university. Western places great importance on helping graduate students finance their education, and we will continue to ensure that the university community is fully aware of all the funding opportunities available to help students succeed. For example, if the total payment is $25,000, three e-Transfers will be issued over three 24-hour periods and each transfer will have a unique Refund Authorization ID.In our pursuit of scholarly and research excellence, Western is committed to graduate education. If an award, bursary, or emergency funding payment exceeds $10,000 the payment will be distributed over multiple transfers in $10,000 increments. After the eighth email reminder, the payment will be canceled or reissued. Up to eight email reminders will be sent to advise an e-Transfer payment is available. Payments will be issued in Canadian dollars. Follow the instructions provided in the email from PayMyTuition. International students will need to click on the link in the email and enter their banking information to access the e-Transfer payment. International students You'll receive a second email requesting your banking information. Once you receive the second email, you can expect a third email with the actual e-Transfer link from Interac within the next 24 hours.
